Target version:-

When the GUI response to a user action is delayed,
typically because it requires a long computation,
then the user ought to be given some feedback ad
interim, to reassure him that his command has been
accepted and is now in the course of being executed.
This is currently done by a tiny progress bar in the
lower left corner. Unfortunately, this is outside
my field of vision when I am operating with sliders
on the very right of the GUI. I suggest that this
progress bar be moved, be made bigger, and be
complemented by change of the cursor from arrow
to sand glass or rotating something (as in Steca).
